What I’m all about

My goal is to support you and empower you throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey.

I started my own doula business the end of 2022 after binge listening to the Birthing Instincts Podcast with Dr.Stu. I have not stopped educating myself since, and I can’t wait to see how my business grows.

Birth is something that you will remember for the rest of your life. It is one of the biggest days that forms who you are as a person, in all aspects.

Having as much support as possible is something I’ve learned is vital during this phase in your life. Let me be one of your rocks during your pregnancy!

β€œShe truly cares about her clients and has the perfect heart for helping bring babies into this world.”

I am SO happy I chose to hire Emma as my Doula! From the moment we had our first interview I knew she was the perfect fit for our family. She was caring/empathetic, intelligent, mindful, and taught us so so many helpful things. I had a brutal 48 hour long sunny-side up labor and she was right there the whole time helping me through (even tho it was Easter Sunday). Without her knowledge and suggestions I believe my baby would not have flipped and it would have ended in a c-section, which I did NOT want. She truly cares about her clients and has the perfect heart for helping bring babies into this world. She brought light and calmness into the room and even took some amazing pictures that I will cherish forever. I will definitely be using her again if/when we have more babies in the future!

Cannot recommend her enough!

I’m sure you have some questions. Here are a few FAQs.

  • I am so blessed to be able to accept Medicaid Misssouri- Healthy Blue, and Kansas Medicaid- United Healthcare which covers FREE doula services

  • Think of a doula as an educated in all things birth, best friend. We support you during your pregnancy, answer those late night questions that you might be searching google for, and are always a phone call away. I can NEVER and will NEVER take place of a partner, but I support your partner is supporting you during labor and postpartum.

  • If you click on the services tab it gives you a more in-depth answer, but in short- I charge $1,050.00 for birth doula support and $250.00 for placenta encapsulation.

  • My first birth I was a single mom, and I experienced an unmedicated hospital birth. My second, I electively induced in the hospital at 39 weeks 6 days and received an epidural. My third, I had an unmedicated homebirth. I have personally experienced several different scenarios so don’t ever feel like I am ever judging any of your personal birth choices.
